2. What Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Location Data

When you select "Nearby" as your search scope, the App requests access to your device's location (latitude and longitude). This data is used solely to find cities near your current position.

2.2 Device Language / Locale

The App reads your device's system language setting to display the interface in the appropriate language (English, French, Spanish, or Turkish). This information is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2.3 Distance Unit Preference

Your preference for kilometres or miles is stored locally on your device using the operating system's secure local storage (Shared Preferences / UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, process, or store the following data in the mobile app itself:

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Konum verisi, yakın çevredeki şehir listesini almak amacıyla GeoNames (geonames.org) API'sine iletilmektedir. Veri pazarlama, reklam veya başka herhangi bir ticari amaçla üçüncü kişilerle paylaşılmamaktadır.
